Pomme de Terre Foods is a volunteer-run food co-op. We have only one part-time employee (the manager), and we rely on volunteers to keep the store open during business hours. Volunteers help keep our shelves stocked, keep the store clean, and work with our customers. Our volunteers are a very valuable resource – their input is what keeps the co-op meeting customer standards.
We offer a handsome discount in exchange for volunteering at our food co-op: a discount unheard of in most co-ops! Volunteers who work 8 hours per month receive 20% off their grocery purchases.
